FAQ

Everything you need to know

Who's running this camp?
Once Upon a Stage is run by Kami Seamons. Kami has performed at Lincoln Center NYC, understudied at Hale Centre Theatre, and has years of choir, improv, and stage experience. Your kids are learning from someone who lives and breathes theater.
Where is the camp held?
The camp is held at a stake center in the Highland/Alpine area of Utah. The specific address will be provided upon registration.
Does my child need theater experience?
Not at all! This camp is designed for all skill levels. Whether your child has never been on stage or has years of experience, they'll have a great time and learn something new.
What should my child bring?
A packed lunch, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes they can move in. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for dancing.
What ages is the camp for?
Kids ages 8 to 13. All skill levels within that age range are welcome!
Can my child attend more than one session?
Absolutely! Each session runs the same program, but your child is welcome to come back for another week if they loved it.
What is the Saturday show?
On Saturday, campers perform a live 20-minute Disney-inspired revue called "Magic Through the Ages" for family and friends at 3:00 PM (call time 2:00 PM). It's the highlight of the week. Every child has a moment to shine on stage!
What's included in the price?
Your $150 covers five days of instruction, a camp t-shirt, daily snacks, all music and tracks for the show, any props used in the performance, and the Saturday show for family and friends. Just bring a packed lunch, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes!
How do I pay?
A $30 non-refundable deposit secures your spot via Venmo. The remaining balance ($120) is due before the first day of camp. Send payments to @onceuponastage_summer on Venmo and include your child's name in the description. Sibling discount: second child from the same family is $130.
